Terms & Conditions
The rules of the road for using megamods.net and placing orders with us. Read them — they matter if we ever disagree on something.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of megamods.net and any purchase of products from MegaMods. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
1. Who we are
MegaMods is a retailer of modded and custom gaming controllers based in the United States. We've been in business since 2011. We are an independent company — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, or any game publisher.
2. Products and orders
All products listed on megamods.net are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit order quantities, decline orders, or cancel orders at our discretion. Prices displayed are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping fees, which are added at checkout.
An order is accepted when we send you a shipping confirmation email. Before that, we may cancel for any reason — pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud — and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
3. Payment
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers; you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount plus any applicable taxes and fees.
4. Shipping and delivery
Estimated shipping times are displayed at checkout. Actual delivery may vary based on carrier, destination, and external factors beyond our control. We ship domestically within the US and internationally to most countries. International customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT, or customs fees imposed by their country.
5. Returns and refunds
Returns are subject to our Refund Policy. Custom-built controllers (built to your specifications via the builder) are non-returnable except in cases of defect. Pre-modded stock controllers can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.
6. Warranty
Every modded and custom controller ships with the warranty described on our Warranty Page. The warranty covers mod-chip defects and hardware faults under normal use; it does not cover physical damage, water damage, or damage from unauthorized modification.
7. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost gameplay progress, ranked penalties, or competitive winnings).
8. Intellectual property
All site content — product descriptions, photography, logos, and written text — is owned by MegaMods or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission. Third-party trademarks (PlayStation, Xbox, game titles) belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.
9. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use megamods.net or our products to:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Infringe the intellectual property of third parties.
- Engage in competitive cheating in a paid tournament where peripheral rules are enforced.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, duplicate, or resell our mod chip firmware.
- Scrape the site, automate purchases, or circumvent anti-bot protections.
10. Modded controllers are an accessory, not a cheat
Our controllers are hardware accessories. They do not modify game files, read game memory, or inject software. Console anti-cheat systems cannot detect them. However, most publishers' terms of service technically prohibit "third-party hardware that modifies input." You use our products at your own risk, and we make no guarantee about the future actions of any game publisher regarding modded controllers.
11. Modifications to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site or placement of new orders after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
