What PUBG players ask before ordering their first modded controller.

Will BattlEye or Krafton ban me for a modded controller?

No. BattlEye is a PC-side kernel anti-cheat that scans memory, drivers and game files — it has zero visibility into what a console controller is doing. Our chip sends normal HID inputs. We've shipped tens of thousands of PUBG controllers with zero BattlEye or Krafton actions.

Does rapid fire actually help on PUBG's M16A4?

Massively. The M16A4 in PUBG is single-fire only — every round is a separate trigger pull. Rapid fire fires it at PUBG's cap (~900 RPM), comfortably faster than human trigger-pulling, with the same tight recoil the M16 already has. It's one of the meta weapons for a reason.

Can I use it in Ranked mode?

Yes — Ranked uses the same matchmaking and anti-cheat as Normal, and neither can see the controller. That said, PUBG's terms technically prohibit "third-party hardware that modifies gameplay," so if you care about the letter of the rules, toggle mods off (a two-button combo) during Ranked pushes and toggle back on for casual.

Does lean spam work in Third Person Perspective?

Yes, but First Person is where it really shines. In FPP, lean spam forces your enemy to re-aim every frame as your hitbox shifts left and right — in TPP, the third-person camera is already doing half that work. Still a meaningful edge in both perspectives.

Does this work for PUBG Mobile on a mobile controller?
